About Macon, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Macon is a large Georgian city in the center of the state.  It was founded in the late 1900s and flourished since into a bustling city of skyscrapers, commerce and culture.  In general, Georgia is known for its lovely weather (never gets much below the freezing in this part of the world) and unbeatable hospitality.  The food, the culture and the music of the South are all alive and thriving in this city of approximately 155,000 residents.

Interested in the past and how this area became what it is today?  Then, make a hot summer day of investigating and exploring the variety of museums in the area, all while keeping cool and comfortable indoors. In Macon, you will find the Allman Brothers Band Museum which is in honor of the band which got its start in the town.  There is also an interactive children’s museum, the largest African American history museum in Georgia (The Tubman African American Museum) and a sports history museum.    The nearby town of Warner Robins is home to the second largest aviation museum in the U.S., which is located next to the air force base (just outside of town). Military memorabilia, airplanes and ground vehicles, the Tuskegee Airmen, and Operation Desert Storm are all commemorated in exhibits that are informative, educational and a great deal of fun to explore.

Approximately 30,000 students call Macon home and, as the weather cools each fall, they come flooding back in for another year of learning at one of the many institutions of higher learning in Macon. Mercer University, Middle Georgia State College, Wesleyan College, and Central Georgia Technical College are all based in Macon.  In addition the following schools have satellite campuses in the city: Fort Valley State University, Georgia College & State University, Troy University, Virginia College, and Miller-Motte Technical College.
